La población de Bolivia tiene uno de los componentes indígenas más altos de Latinoamérica. Este pueblo, perteneciente a la etnia Coya, se encuentra relegado a los estratos más bajos de la sociedad y es objeto de opresiones sociales e injusticias, y pese a ello, ha sabido mantener su lenguaje, cultura, folklore y el amor por su tierra. Los rasgos de su cultura pueden ser leídos como gestos de orgullo y de resistencia constante al predominio hispánico. Las fotos presentadas en esta muestra son parte de una serie más amplia que registra y retrata situaciones urbanas y cotidianas: vendedores callejeros, niños, trabajadores, familias rurales que viven temporalmente en las calles hasta vender sus mercancías...
